A medium bodied wine with well-developed flavours of cassis and walnut with an earthy complexity. This well-cellared wine shows a flavour development and smoothness that makes it delicious drinking at BBQ’s or with pizza.
Dark and brooding with fruit aromas of cassis and black plum. Complex notes of vanilla, cinnamon spice and sandalwood add interest to the nose. The palate is full and rich but with an underlying sinew of acid and tannin. The generosity on the nose flows through the palate and adds length to the finish. This is wine for long term cellaring but can be enjoyed immediately if decantered. Drink over the next 7-10 years
Using traditional winemaking techniques for Pinot Noir has enabled us to produce a wine that expresses its sense of place. Soft red berry fruits along with toasty and savoury spice notes capture the aromatic profile. The palate is broad and silky smooth.
Dense and brooding notes of black plum and cassis. Coal dust, ground metal and wet earth evoke suggestions of strength and power. The palate delivers on all counts with notes of liquorice, plum jam and heady spirit. The finish is sweet and soft but held together by a tannin matrix which allows the wine to keep its freshness.
Food match-high cocoa solid chocolate based deserts or petit

A great companion for desserts like crème brulé and lemon meringue pie
or match with strong cheeses.
